The company was India’s highest-ranked energy PSU (public sector undertaking) in the Fortune 500 list in 2023 and is the government’s largest oil producer in capacity and revenue.
It owns and operates 11 refineries with a capacity of 80.7 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA) and intends to increase to 107MMTPA by 2024-25.
