The company was established under H. Lueders & Company later changed to Sunnyside Oil Company in 1920. The main plant which was built in 1976, is based in Wheeling, Illinois, and runs other distribution centers in Portland, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and New York.
Sunnyside’s product line includes thinners, solvents, cleaners, and paint additives. They are marketed under several brands, including Sunnyside, ProSolutions, Green Envy, M-1, and 2-Minute Remover. The products have been available at retailers such as Home Depot, Walmart, Lancaster, and Pacoa since 1950.
