Micro Harmonics
Overview
Micro Harmonics, a company based in Fincastle, Virginia, began its operation in 2008 as a manufacturer of ferrite components for use at millimeter-wave (MMW).
This company produces millimeter wave isolators, circulators, and attenuators operating from 25 GHz to over 400 GHz. These components were targeted for NASA instrumentation but also find wide application in the commercial, scientific, and military sectors. In 2015, they got a contract from NASA to develop an advanced line of Faraday rotation isolators and circulators. In 2020, Micro Harmonics invented and patented their MMW hybrid circulator that supports broadband telecommunications for emerging 5G/6G applications.
