■Product overview

DST type jet dispenser MDS 1560 is a completely new type of jet dispenser realized by Vermes, a German company with know-how in piezo type jet dispensers. It is recommended for applying small amounts of cream solder as it can achieve fast, powerful, and highly reproducible application. This jet dispensing system for solder paste is Vermes' first non-piezo driven system. This is a system specialized for solder paste, and it is possible to apply with a minimum application diameter of φ110 µm. There is no adjustment required with piezo elements, making it easier to assemble before use. DST – Dynamic Shockwave Technology – VERMES is an innovative technology based on the unique principle of micro-dispensing. In order to improve coating results, we have begun to improve coating technology and significantly improve yield. With the latest VERMES micro-dispensing technology, the MDV 1560 provides faster and more accurate dispensing than any electro-pneumatic jet valve on the market.

・Non-contact application. No Z-axis lifting required during coating operation ⇒ Dramatically improved productivity and no damage to workpieces ・Minute application. Achieves minute amount application of 1nl or less. - Compatible with materials with low viscosity to high viscosity up to 2,000 Pas. ・Flow path can be attached and detached with one touch ⇒ Faster setup change. ・Equipped with a heater for coating materials as standard ⇒ Compatible with various coating materials ・Equipped with a valve air cooling system as standard ⇒ Improved coating reproducibility ・High viscosity system ・Material viscosity ~2,000Pa･s ・Built-in valve heater ・Minimum application amount 2nl ・Maximum frequency 700Hz ・Recommended media: cream solder (type 5 or higher), conductive paste, solder flux, organic solvent, weak acid + chloride paste solvent, various aqueous solutions, etc.
