About This Product

■This is a PVA sponge (porous material) sheet/block that has high porosity and a fine continuous pore structure, and exhibits excellent performance such as absorption and retention of high volume liquids and filtration with low pressure loss.- Maintains its shape without softening even when wet (WET state).
・Since it is a continuous pore porous material with high porosity, it can be used in a wide range of applications as liquid absorbing material, impregnating material, occlusion material, and filtration material. (Since it has almost no hydrophilicity, it is not suitable for water absorption applications.)
・It has excellent workability and can be processed into various shapes.
・Since it is a one-piece resin, it does not generate fuzz or fiber waste unlike fiber materials.

■MaterialPVA sponge (PVFM: polyvinyl formal)

■Use/Industry/Target・Liquid absorption/impregnation: Printers, stationery, office supplies (ink), diagnostic reagents (medicines), motors (oil)
・Filtration: Air/gas (air filters), water (water purifiers), flushing oil (ship engines, etc.), kerosene (fan heaters, etc.), various mineral oils
・Sound deadening: Pneumatic equipment, compressors
・Fluid plate: Powder transportation, powder coating
