About This Product

■Summary

The ST-500 is a cryostat designed to minimize vibration and drift for optical analysis, microscopic imaging, and high-resolution photoluminescence. Liquid cryogen is transferred using the positive pressure of the dua without using an exhaust pump, so there is no pump vibration. The working distance between the lens and the sample is as short as 1 mm, allowing it to be mounted on a microscope, and the height (thickness) is limited to 67 mm for the ST-500 model and 29.5 mm for the ST-500-C model. It can be installed in any space. The sample is cooled by thermal conduction in a vacuum atmosphere. It can also be used for transmission experiments, and upper/lower optical window materials can also be selected. Helium liquefaction/recirculation cooler It can also be used without liquid helium in conjunction with RGC4.

■Features

The ST-500 is a cryostat designed for optical analysis, microscopic imaging, and high spatial resolution photoluminescence. A combination of low thermal expansion support structure and internal vibration isolation achieves nanometer-scale vibration and drift levels. The low-profile profile provides a short working distance for use with high-magnification optics and can be mounted on common microscope stages and translators. Samples can be easily accessed and exchanged from the top of the cryostat. It is also ideal for applications such as micro-Raman and micro-PL. The ST-500/500-C type can be used not only with liquid helium but also with liquid nitrogen.

■Others

・Low thermal expansion and internal vibration isolation structure, low vibration: ±15nm, low drift: ±2nm ・Compatible with thin and high magnification microscopes: Height (thickness): 67mm or 29.5mm ・Working distance between microscope objective lens and sample: Minimum 1mm* (*: Depends on window size and window material) ・Suitable for transmission experiments, upper/lower optical window materials can be selected ・Since the liquid cryogen is transferred using the positive pressure of the dua without using a pump, there is no vibration of the exhaust pump. ・Temperature range: 3.5K typ. ~ 475K, or 6K ~ 475K ・Sample atmosphere is vacuum and cooled by thermal conduction ・Excellent thermal properties, quick cooling: about 30 minutes to 5K ・Built-in Lake Shore calibrated temperature sensor and heater for PID temperature control ・Magnetic field application option also available ・Can also be used with liquid nitrogen
