About This Product

■With optical window for electrical property measurement and optical analysis

The VPF-100 type is an LN2 liquid nitrogen cryostat suitable for optical analysis and measurement of electrical properties at low temperatures. The temperature range is 65K typ.~500K or ~800K, and the temperature can be controlled with a temperature controller. Equipped with a 4-way optical window, reflection/transmission optical measurements are also possible. The sample atmosphere is vacuum and the sample is cooled by thermal conduction through the cold head-sample holder. Sample holders, electrical wiring feedthroughs, and optical window materials can be selected depending on the measurement application.

■Features

The VPF-100 type is a standard cryostat model that uses LN2 liquid nitrogen as a cryogen and has a proven track record of many deliveries. Built-in heater and thermal impedance displacer allow temperature control over a wide range from 65K typ. to 500K or 800K. Temperature stability of ±50mK (typ.) can be achieved by PID control using a Lake shore temperature controller (335 type, etc.). Liquid nitrogen can be refilled even during temperature control. Access to the sample section is via an easily removable coupling, and the sample is mounted within a 3" diameter (2.5" for VPF-100-H) vacuum space.
